My Poem Day
Rain Away
Wash The Gray, Color My Day
1 min readMay 6, 2022
Raindrops and rain splashes
Pour down on the green grass patches,
Wash away the dusty terraces,
Replenish the thirsty creeks and crevices.
You miss the rain that comes your way,
You love the water drops that act so sway
The freshness of the air, so bright
Water in its purest form, delight.
From fluffy clouds to stratocumulus takes a bit.
Some days it feels like rain comes in a sprint.
When it starts raining, you sit,
And wait for the earth to take a deserved sip.
Some pray for rain and dance for it,
Some just want to cool the summer air a bit
While others wait for the rainbows to greet
Life can be great, wet, sunny, and sweet.
